The ROTC Awards Recognition Banquet is one of the Chapters signature events that provide the NDIA Michigan community the opportunity to recognize the academic and leadership accomplishments of approximately 90 cadets and midshipmen enrolled in Michigan ROTC programs.

This event focuses on the accomplishments of future users of the material and services we provide, as well as demonstrate community involvement. The Banquet also provides a social networking opportunity for Government and the local Defense industry leadership to come together.

The evening offers a unique opportunity for industry to recognize and demonstrate our support to the young men and women from within the State of Michigan who will rely on our equipment and services for success in the future as they take on obligations as officers in our Armed Services.

The Awards Banquet is sponsored by the NDIA Michigan Chapter and supported by the Greater Michigan Armed Forces Week Committee, Association of the United States Army and the Navy League. Additionally, approximately 20 corporate member companies serve as event sponsors.

  1. Port Braised Boneless Short Ribs, with Herb Risotto and Sautéed Broccoli
  2. Oven Poached Lemon Dill Salmon; Lemon Risotto; Tomato/Cucumber Salad
  3. Vegetarian: Grilled Vegetable Napoleon, and Smoked Tomato Fondue
  4. Gluten-free


General Attendance:
