Dear NDIA Michigan Membership Social Attendees
As developments evolve in regards to the coronavirus (COVID-19), the NDIA Michigan Chapter has been closely monitoring various situations. The health and safety of members and program attendees are our highest priority. And as the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), and the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) have declared COVID-19 a universal pandemic, after lots of deliberation, the Chapter has decided to cancel its annual Membership Networking Social on March 26th. Discussions are under way to determine if the event will occur later in the year, or cancelled all together for 2020. The Chapter will be sure to forward communications as plans evolve. Those who already paid to attend the March event will receive a full refund, but it may take a little time to process.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you but again, the health and safety of everyone is our primary concern at this stage. Be safe and we look forward to seeing you at another NDIA Michigan Chapter event soon.
Sincerely,
Sam Homsy
President
NDIA Michigan Chapter
